I'm a self-taught mobile/software/website developer with experience for over 3 years. I strive for perfection and I'm willing to help in every way I can. Currently I'm starting a company specialized in programming and robotics.
This is a very broad question. I would be more than happy to discuss it with you privately. But the most important thing to look for is the experience the developer has.
My answer will be short: Definitely an app.
I'll be more than happy to discuss details further.
In my opinion, the best thing to do is to finish the development completetly, test your final product for bugs and when the teating period is over you can go ahead and publish it.
Best regards,
For more details I'm always available.
There are many ways to solve your problems. And to me the main problem in your case is money.
In my opinion, seeking for an investor nowadays is useless. The most popular way to raise some money today is crowdfunding. You can go to indiegogo.com or any similar website, present your project and the amount of money you want to raise and people will start making donations. Or you can look for a developer who's willing to go into a partnership with you.
I'll be more than happy to discuss more details with you on the phone.
Best regards
Hello,
If you have time, I suggest that you learn coding yourself. That saves you money but takes a great amount of time to do.
And if your interested, I'm a coder myself. You can give me a call and we'll discuss the details of your idea.
The best way to raise money is using websites like indiegogo.com or www.kickstarter.com
Another approach is to put ads on your website (even though it's not done yet) and add a donation option to your website.
Their's no trusted source for knowing how many downloads a specific app has gotten only if the developers of the app publish some numbers.
However www.xyologic.com presents the number of downloads for a wide variety of ios apps in different categories but I'm not sure about its reliability.
I think that QuickTime is the best. It's easy to use and it's built in with Mac OS X snow leopard and later versions.
