Instagram can be an INCREDIBLE lead generation platform if used effectively!
A few things to consider:
1. Make sure to use hashtags that your potential audience would be using. One of most common mistakes I see on IG is a business using hashtags that their competitors are using (i.e. other chiropractors).
For instance, someone with low back pain will not be using #chiro, but rather #fitness #health and #crossfit - insert CrossFit injury joke here :)
2. Make sure to geo-locate with likes/comments and even go a step further by engaging with your competitors' audiences... essentially borrow their audience by
3. Share ONLY great content and give your IG audience a reason to follow your account. Make sure your profile picture, bio, and gallery is clear with a theme and consistent brand.
4. This may sound basic but MAKE SURE you have a strong call-to-action in your bio. Just because they're not your customer now, doesn't mean they won't be later! Make sure to capture name/e-mail from an opt-in on your website where you're giving something away.
You want to establish TOMA (top of the mind awareness) so that WHEN someone needs a chiro, it may be months after they first engaged with your account, you're the first one they think of.
Hope you find these helpful! If you need help or want a team to take care of all of this for you (creating/posting content, engagement, etc), one of my businesses offers just that: www.instaboost.org.
Happy holidays.
